Michael is from Mobile, Alabama, and has a business degree from Indiana University. He was an English Teacher while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in northern Turkmenistan before moving to New Orleans to help rebuild in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Michael is currently the Club Director of the Westbank Boys & Girls Club.
