Steering Committee Ground Rules:
Membership is open to any interested members of the general public, however membership excludes declared individuals or those who are actively considering a campaign for an upcoming local election, and those who are employed by such a campaign.
Membership requires a) attending two meetings per months and b) serving as an active member on a task force or committee.- Members should respect all issues, with critical and thoughtful consideration, rather than being a “one-issue person.”
- Members should prioritize the collective’s agenda during policy platform meetings, rather than their own organization’s agenda.
- Steering committee discussions should remain internal, until the identified time when discussion substance is agreed to be made public.
