|  EngageNOLA's Calendar Policy In order to ensure your event gets posted on time all events must be sent to us at least three days before the event is to occur. If the event is cancelled we ask that you let us know two days before the event was to occur. Though we may list events hosted, sponsored or in support of candidates running for a political office or an event that promotes only ONE stance to a political or social issue, WE, EngageNOLA, DO NOT ENDORSE ANY PARTICULAR CANDIDATE and until we publicly announce our platform in late July, WE DO NOT PUBLICLY ADVOCATE ANY STANCE ON ANY POLITICAL OR SOCIAL ISSUE. Our goal is simply to educate ourselves and other young professionals so we can all have the power to make informed decisions on the events, bills and elections that affect our lives as New Orleanians. We can only post what we know about, so, if there is an event you feel young professionals of New Orleans should participate in or be aware of but it is not posted on our Calendar please let us know as soon as possible. Though we will try to have an EngageNOLA steering committee member at each event, we cannot guarantee we will attend every event. If you feel an event we have posted was offensive, inappropriate or unsafe for any reason please contact calendar@engagenola.org so we can evaluate whether or not events relayed to us by the group cited should continue to be posted. | |
