A Public Conversation with At-Large City Council Candidates

On February 3 at 8:00 p.m., the Urban League and Common Good are convening a public conversation with the at-large city council candidates. Jackie Clarkson, Arnie Fielkow, Nolan Marshall & Cynthia Willard-Lewis have agreed to participate.

This in an event by citizens, for citizens. As such, it will not be moderated by media celebrities, but rather by the leaders of the convening organizations. It will take the form of a civil, respectful public conversation and will be about the role of the city council president and vice-president in governing the city.

We have pledged to the candidates, as we do to you and the general public, that this will be a constructive, non-partisan event. No “gotcha” questions will be asked and no attacking others’ responses permitted. Our focus will be on the critical role of the city council’s president and vice president in promoting the well being of our entire city.
